♪ Violin and viola lessons given at Brioso are based on the American (Juilliard) teaching method and philosophy. The curriculum incorporates various materials such as Suzuki Violin/Viola School books, Shinozaki Violin Method books, and original technique materials developed by Ms. Cindy Lu.

♪Violin and viola lessons are offered to students ranging from 4-year-olds to adults. Lessons can be conducted in English, Chinese, or Japanese.

♪ Long-term students (taking lessons for more than 6 months) can attend and perform at the “studio class”. “Studio class” is the term used in the US for musical gatherings where students perform, receive positive and constructive feedback from instructor and other students.

♪ The studio is located in Choufu City, Tokyo, right next to the Setagaya area. The faculty at Brioso provides home tutoring services throughout Tokyo, Yokohama, and other Kanto areas. If a student requests lessons at their preferred location, such as their home, additional travel expenses will be incurred and should be paid to the teacher.

♪ The faculty at Brioso provides students with recommendations for overseas schools and festivals, as well as audition and application support.

♪ Parents are HIGHLY WELCOMED and ENCOURAGED to attend lessons up until 6 grade.

♪For students preparing for school/orchestra auditions, competitions, and certification tests, intensive lessons are recommended. The teacher will also suggest suitable international arts/music summer schools and festivals abroad for advanced students, along with application support.

♪The teaching materials include “Suzuki Violin/Viola School Books” and “Shinozaki Violin Method” books, as well as original materials created by Ms. Lu. Advanced students will be using standard scale and etude books and advanced repertoire.
